**Project Title: Biomechanical Effects of Exoskeleton**

**Project Introduction**: This project aims to examine the biomechanical effects of exoskeleton during static and dynamic activities. Ground reaction forces and muscle activities of human participants will be compared with and without exoskeleton use under various loading conditions.

**Requirements**:

- A Master’s degree in sport science or related scientific discipline
- Minimum 3 years of research experience, including involvement in studies that fall under the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA) in Singapore
- Good knowledge in human anatomy, biomechanics, coding and data processing procedures
- Experience in gait analysis, electromyography (EMG) and ground reaction force measurements
- Ability to supervise a team to collect data during moderate-to-high intensity exercise
- Good track record in sports and exercise biomechanics research
- Experience in mentoring students and junior team members
- Excellent organization and project management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

**Responsibilities**
- Recruit participants and schedule data collection
- Supervise a team to conduct data collection and analysis using specialised equipment and software
- Write codes to process and analyse ground reaction force and EMG data
- Manage research data
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Handle administrative tasks associated with the project
- Support general maintenance and activities of NIE Sports Biomechanics Laboratory and the Physical Education and Sports Science Academic Group
- Other related duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator
