We are recruiting for an Accounting Executive to join our team in Singapore.
As an Accounting Executive in Skuld Singapore you will be part of a world leading marine insurance provider where service and competence is key. **Your responsibilities**
- Ensure all payables and expenses are processed accurately on a timely manner and in accordance with internal control within the company
- Prepares journals for monthly closing within T+3 days
- Review the reconciliation of bank accounts, sub-ledger to control account and inter-company accounts
- Prepare quarterly MAS I&E reporting (training provided)
- Prepare unaudited MAS annual return (training provided)
- Support audit and tax queries, including preparation of audit schedules, draft financial statements
- Liaise with corporate secretary to ensure timely submission of corporate matters
- Prepare government survey on ad-hoc basis
- Assist in budget preparation.
- Overall-in-charge in cashflow management including intercompany settlement
- Petty Cash custodian
**Your qualifications should include**
- Degree in Accountancy, CPA or equivalent
- 3-4 years of working experience handling full-set account
- Good knowledge and working experience in insurance company is a must
- Audit experience is preferred
- Experience in MAS reporting is an advantage
- Experience in a role involving Head Office reporting is an advantage
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and well organised
- High integrity and honesty
