**Accounts Payable Specialist (Maternity Cover - 6 months contract)**

**SUMMARY**:

Our client who is a global general insurance company in Asia with consumer and business offerings in the Property, Casualty, Life and Health domain is looking for an Accounts Payable specialist.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

Investment Operations
-Ensure prompt settlement of trades executed by fund managers
-Liaise with brokers, bankers, fundhouses & custodians on daily settlement issues
-Monitor daily cash movements of all Investment bank accounts
-Ensure all investment related entries are duly & accurately posted into the Accounting System & balances reconcile to subsidiary ledgers
-Ensures all investment holdings are timely & accurately updated daily
-Manage collateral placements & margin calls
-Manage billings for external fund managers, custodians and Bloomberg system
-Perform investment bank reconciliations
-Perform MTM investment reconciliation to subledger
-Perform investment holdings reconciliations to custodian records
Investment Reporting
-Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly investment assets data (including but not limited to risk charge calculations) for:

-MAS reporting
-SGAAP reporting
-JGAAP reporting
-GST reporting
-Head office reporting
-Management reporting
-Ad hoc reporting
-Any other ad hoc projects as allocated by Section Head or Head of Finance

**REQUIREMENTS**:
At least Diploma in Accounting
-3 years of relevant experience in investment operations or investment accounting.
-Experience in MAS reporting & in-depth knowledge of various investment instruments is preferred.
