Singapore Bunge Full time

This role will be primarily accountable for building local market access for meal and corn in Malaysia and developing local distribution business in Malaysia. The role will be responsible for engaging the local stakeholders in Malaysia including customers, ports, stevedores etc., and collaborate with functions like FRM, TFS, Execution and Logistics to create maximum opportunities and value for Bunge.

**Main Accountabilities**

Customer Access, Marketing & Distribution
- Build local customer access in Malaysia for meal and corn. Directly manage allocated customer accounts for complete sales cycle from enquiry to execution
- Work closely with the commercial team for executing the sales & distribution plans, customer pricing and other executions functions
- Be accountable for building deeper customer connectivity and relationship with targeted customers
- Provide extensive competition analysis and daily updates on competition program

Market Intelligence
- Work closely with the Research team and be responsible for daily price discovery of the local market, competition activities, local stocks and industry profitability
- Provide extensive insights and regular updates into Malaysia’s open demand coverage/balance scorecard and forward curve visibility and consumption patterns for the broiler and layer markets,
- Provide extensive insights for the local grains and oilseeds prices as well as the local supply and demand at the main ports to identify potential arbitrage opportunities
- Be responsible for updating, reporting and sharing Malaysia analytics data with research and commercial teams in the format as prescribed from time to time

Execution Management
- Actively engage and collaborate with logistics and trade execution for superior customer service and efficient execution management
- Develop operational efficiencies leading to better P&L for Bunge as a whole, such as port swaps, month swaps, early collection of cargo and foreign payment efficiencies etc.
- Work closely with the BFS and FRM to provide value added services for customer when required

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the Agri commodity industry, preferably in Grains/Meal marketing in Malaysia
- University degree
- Good knowledge and understanding of the physical flow and futures
- Good knowledge & insights into the corn & meal industry and its supply and demand dynamics
- Strong and effective communication skills
- Have strong inter-personal skills, analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to work in a high stress environment
- Hands-on approach
- Travelling required
