**Job Description**:
Position: Strategy & Market Research Intern
- Department: International Markets (TanTan Dating App)
- Location: Singapore (Tanjong Pagar/ Shenton Way)
- Duration: 3-6 months (flexible)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a sharp, curious, and driven intern to support TanTan’s international growth through strategic insights, market research, and user experience thinking. You’ll work directly with the leadership team to explore Gen Z dating trends, identify product opportunities, and support trust & safety initiatives to make dating better and safer for everyone.

What You'll Do:

- Conduct competitive research across local and global dating apps (UX/UI flows, features, positioning, monetization models).
- Analyze user behavior, market trends, and potential feature gaps, particularly for Southeast Asian markets.
- Assist in designing surveys and gathering insights on dating habits, app preferences, and safety expectations.
- Support the development of trust & safety strategies (e.g., onboarding flows, verification features, reporting mechanisms).
- Contribute to basic UX/UI review sessions and propose improvements that boost user confidence and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing to localize brand voice and engagement campaigns.
- Prepare research briefs and strategy decks to inform product roadmap decisions.

What You Bring:

- Strong interest in consumer tech, online dating, or social apps
- Curious mindset with the ability to synthesize data and trends into insights
- Basic understanding of UX/UI or product thinking (Figma or Canva a bonus)
- Good written communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Southeast Asian markets and Gen Z culture is a plus
- Bonus if you’ve ever thought, “this dating app could be way better”
