The Asia Middle Office and Data Technology Lead is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to drive a variety of operational efficiency and engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure, achieving operational efficiencies in coordination with the Technology and Operation teams. The overall objective of this role is to lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework.

The Lead will work closely with Regional heads of Equities Cash and Delta-1 Middle Office, Product Owners and various in-country heads to execute towards their short term and strategic visions. The lead will decide on all aspects of the technology architecture in specific, Strategic build outs by moving local in-country middle office flows to global platforms, building a single platform for Client Trade Confirmations, platform simplification with retirements of legacy Systems, Platform resiliency and Operational Efficiency efforts based on the global roadmaps.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement best in class post trade middle office function offering for Citigroup Cash and Delta-1 clients
- Support all products within functional area, from design to implementation and ongoing performance according to business/operational need
- Identify, establish and maintain strategic partnerships with executives from technology vendors within assigned area and coordinate to influence vendor product roadmaps to be in line with Citi strategic goals
- Provide technical leadership in the design of highly complex systems
- Ensure products are ready and adhere to global operational standards for ongoing operation and support
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions

- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
