This role leads the design and architect of new AI platform architecture in AI & Data Analytics (AIDA). As Senior Director of AI Architecture & Integration, you will manage a team of architects and engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and business-ready AI solutions.

You will be responsible for designing end-to-end AI workflows, integration solution with existing and new systems and business processes. The role also ensures strong security and seamless integration of AI services across different platforms.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to evaluate and implement AI platforms, tools, and frameworks that support the organization’s goals and future growth.

- Lead a team of highly skilled solution architects, security architects, integration engineers, and ecosystem innovation engineers, responsible for designing scalable architectures and enabling end-to-end AI solution integration across the organization.
- Lead architectural blueprinting of scalable AI solutions aligned with enterprise goals.
- Design and oversee E2E AI integration flows across cloud/on-prem APIs and data systems.
- Evaluate and select AI platforms, frameworks and infrastructure tools in collaboration with Engineering and AI & Data teams.
- Drive AI ecosystem enablement through partnerships, plugins, and developer tools.
- Manage the secure deployment and governance of AI/ML solutions across internal systems.
- Architect Agentic AI and LLM-based workflows, enabling interaction across internal APIs and business layers.
- Integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) to orchestrate complex AI-driven tasks and automations.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and governance teams to ensure compliance (PDPA, etc).
- Provide architectural oversight for AI experimentation, PoCs, and vendor technology assessments.
- Mentor and grow technical talent within the team
- Define architectural standards, best practices, and reference implementations for AI deployments.
- Support business stakeholders with technical feasibility evaluations and solution design reviews.
- Monitor industry trends to ensure adoption of state-of-the-art technologies relevant to telco AI.
- Work closely with product, data and platform teams across different business units (Networks, IT, Consumer, Enterprise and Group function units) to align on solution strategy and delivery.
- Engage with external vendors, technology partners, and research collaborators to assess and adopt emerging AI capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
- Lead technical due diligence and integration planning for strategic partnerships and third-party AI solutions.

**Skills to Succeed**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or related field.
- More than 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering, or AI/ML solutioning roles.
- Proven leadership experience managing architecture or engineering teams in an AI/ML environment.
- Strong background in designing AI/ML systems, cloud-native architectures, and API ecosystems.
- Familiarity with LLMs, agentic workflows, vector databases, and multi-agent orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of data security, model governance, and compliance in regulated industries (e.g., telco, finance).
- Experience with integration patterns (REST, event-driven) and platforms like Kubernetes, Kafka
- Hands-on knowledge of AI platforms/tools such as Azure ML, Vertex AI, Databricks, Hugging Face, LangChain.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills to influence across business and technology units.
- Strong internal (IT, Networks, business) and external (suppliers, government) stakeholders management skills
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive and fast learner with a strong drive to stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Familiarity with the telco domain, IT systems, and data-driven use cases, with strong technical acumen and a keen interest in emerging AI and data technologies.
