We seek dedicated educators and researchers to join our team, focusing on a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Photonics and Quantum Optics.

Position Description
Applicants should hold a PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline. A strong background and experience in one or more of the following areas is required: Nanophotonics, Photonics, Quantum optics, MEMS, and Nanofabrication.

Responsibilities

Research Excellence
- Disseminate new research findings in peer-reviewed journals and premier conferences, contributing significantly to the domain of photonics and quantum optics.
- Secure external research funding and develop a top-notch research program.

Teaching and Mentoring
- Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in photonics and quantum optics.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students and postdoctoral research fellows, fostering a collaborative research environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development and refresh for photonics and quantum optics.

Service and Professionalism
- Enhance research collaboration between EEE and industry partners.
- Engage in school, university, and professional service activities.
- Contribute to the academic community through participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops.

Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A strong track-record of research and innovation in photonics and quantum optics.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring students.
- Strong commitment to academic service and leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
