**Child Care Centre Cleaner**

To ensure the centre is left in a clean, hygienic, safe and secure state at the end of shift, ensuring all hazards have been removed and doors secured.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

To sweep and mop floors daily.

To clean, dust and disinfect sinks, basins, countertops, toilets, mirrors, windows, doors and floors, tables and chairs

Ensure toilets and hand wash basins throughout the centre are stocked toilet paper and hand soap.

To empty all waste, rubbish and recyclables in the appropriate disposal area.

To ensure all cleaning products are stored safely in the designated cupboards.

**Experience, Qualifications and Training Requirements**

Attend, participate and support during staff briefings, meetings and events as assigned by Principal

Updating of job knowledge through on the job training,

To be aware of and act within the guidelines of AceKidz risk assessment

**Knowledge and Skills Required**

Show a willingness to undertake additional roles to meet the needs of the centre and other duties as required within the scope and spirit of the job.
