The Associate in the Finance Department is an entry level specialist role to assist in the planning, strategizing, optimizing, and reporting on the use of funds, capital, and financial position of the Firm to the management and parent company. The main responsibility of this role is to facilitate the efficient use of financial resources by different business lines and ensure prompt, accurate and consistent exposure management to internal stakeholders.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Assist in management reporting of financials and financial risks
- Assist in cash flow analysis and cash flow management
- Assist in designing, solutioning and implementing controls to mitigate financial risks
- Assist in improving and/or simplifying current processes, procedures and reports including but not limited to automation of manual processes, interpretation of methodologies etc
- Assist in providing insights with storytelling using data
- Assist in implementing the accounting module for new capital market products

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary degree in Accountancy
- Preferably a certified Chartered Accountant or with the intention to become one
- Good understanding of General Ledger and interpretation of Financial Statements
- Relevant work experience in the Financial Services sector would be an advantage but not a must
- Analytical thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate strategy to execution
- Problem solving and documentation skills with an ability to understand complex workflows
- Accuracy and attentive to details
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and drive results
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new changes and new challenges
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is key
- Proficient in both English and Chinese (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply
