[What the role is]

You will be part of the Sustainability and Living Lab team to work closely with various departments and stakeholders to test bed new technologies within NParks, with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency and situational ground awareness.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation, monitoring, and operationalisation of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) solution aimed at monitoring the operational performance of public areas. This role requires a strong understanding of AI technologies, video analytics training, contract management, and project coordination. You will work in partnership with other departments, external stakeholders and vendors to plan, manage and monitor surveillance technology and deployment to ensure effective and efficient implementation of ground operations.

[What you will be working on]

You will be involved in the following duties:

- Plan and identify scope of works to manage the key areas under the AI project including deployment of resources, manpower and equipment.
- Contract & vendor management such as ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and obligations.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of AI and video analytics technologies for monitoring operational performance in parks and public areas, including sourcing of relevant training datasets.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize the AI and video analytics solution to track and evaluate the operational performance in parks and public areas and provide regular reports.
- Improving the AI solution: Work with the vendor on validation of alerts and data annotation to train and improve the AI solution.
- Data Analysis: Extract and analyse relevant data to identify trends that could support the operational teams in their work.
- Quality Assurance of works: To ensure that any detected operational lapses are rectified in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Attend to related enquiries and troubleshooting issues.
- Any other tasks as assigned.

[What we are looking for]

You should preferably possess the following qualities:

- Relevant working experience in managing IT projects, including understanding of video analytic systems, hardware and software will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, e.g. toggling excel, functions, coming up with creative presentations.
- A team player with good communication, interpersonal and written skills.
- Able and willing to work outdoors, occasionally on weekends and after working hours.
- Meticulous, independent, and proactive; able to multi-task.
