As a Design Engineer, you will provide engineering expertise in the area of design, analysis, and testing of DC-DC power converters.

**Responsibilities**:

- To Support engineering design activities for electrification projects i.e. design deliverable completion, clarification meetings with client, follow up with external consultants on submissions, vendors.
- Supporting package engineers in creation of FAT procedures, attending FAT, follow up on the FAT punch list, Submission of FAT reports and clearing punch list of all power systems equipment-e.g. MV Switchgear, DC Switchgear, DC Trackside equipment, Power Converters, Power Transformers, Double Converter, Double Converter Transformer, Auxiliary Transformers and Auxiliary Systems (ACDB, 110V DC system and RIO Panels).
- Support Package Engineers for the preparation of working drawings, as built drawings and any modification in the submitted drawings as per the client requirement.
- Support package engineers to develop the cable list and termination list for the stations and depot.
- Responsible to develop station-wise FO blocks diagram.
- Work closely with Interface Manager for the interface related works (eg: Asset data Registration, Updation of SLD for signaling etc.)
- Work closely with Project teams, Interfacing, T&C teams including coordinate with various interface partner. Support Installation and T&C team as and when requested at site for design related issues.

**Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Has acquired strong foundation as an Electrical Engineer in power systems with local project experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the electrification projects for MRT projects.
- Good experience in AC and DC Electrification systems including Control and Protections.
- Added advantage for the experience in Cable list and termination list preparation.
- Added advantage for DC traction power systems T&C works.
- Well verse of Local transportation operators and legal requirement.
- Adaptable to different working environments and customer working terms and conditions.
- Strong and effective communicator at all levels within the team and cross functional disciplines.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $5,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
