**Infrastructure Engineer - API Integration Specialist**

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer specializing in API integration to join our dynamic team. As an integral member of the Tech Architecture & Engineering Unit, you will play a crucial role in implementing projects, translating business requirements into robust infrastructure designs, and collaborating with service providers to ensure the resiliency, availability, and data integrity of our systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement projects within established practices to meet service delivery goals.
- Translate business requirements into effective infrastructure designs.
- Collaborate with service providers to develop, deploy, and configure infrastructure, focusing on resiliency and data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, Authority’s Technical Architecture, and IT policies.
- Handover infrastructure and systems procedures to Operations Engineer upon completion.
- Support Operations Engineer on infrastructure and systems tasks.
- Assist in infrastructure architecture reviews and endorse hardening standards for OS and databases.
- Onboard hosting environment infrastructure, including design, setup, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
- Understand and ensure the smooth operation of systems environments.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary Education in relevant fields is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in Windows, Linux RHEL, and AIX OS, and familiarity with OS virtualization technologies.
- Ability to take a broad, strategic perspective while understanding business needs and challenges.
- Analytical skills to identify comprehensive solutions considering all functional implications.
- Results and customer-oriented mindset.
- Strong team player with organizational and people-handling skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
- Familiarity with API products and configuration for pub/sub and encryption is highly preferred.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: $8,000.00 - $9,500.00 per month
