Your role is based in Singapore, where you will work within our rapidly expanding SMART Futures team. In this fast-paced environment, you will be working with our international teams on ongoing projects in Singapore and worldwide. You will be tasked with conceptualising and designing these future landmarks, determining the lives of millions of future citizens and ensuring cities positively contribute to society. In this role, you will be directly client-facing in developing solutions to integrate user experience, the built environment and technology. Creatively working with the multi-disciplinary design teams, you will conceptualise and carry out the concept design to deliver SMART building strategies and holistic solutions.

Your duties will entail conceptualisation and design of user experience and SMART Technology design related services for our clients, including:

- Conduct survey workshops with industry-leading Architects, clients, and design partners to gather research data and create meaningful insights.
- Effectively prioritize your overall research efforts. Align with project teams while considering impact, type of research, the goals of your stage groups, the broader product vision, and company objectives.
- Develop and maintain SMART Futures overall strategic research program and strategy.
- Demonstrate thought leadership by delivering strategic research projects each year.
- Deliver impactful research that informs decisions across project lifecycle.
- Communicate, advocate for, and socialize actionable insights in a clear and compelling way.
- Actively contribute to the SMART Futures team culture, CX / UX processes, and documentation.
- Actively seek out difficult impediments to our efficiency as a team (process, tooling, etc), and propose and implement solutions that will enable the entire team to work more efficiently.

- A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Architecture, Sustainability, Design Thinking or related discipline
- Min 3 years relevant experience in practice
- Strong research skills
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
- spoken and written
- Ability to manage and coordinate with other team members.
- Experience with 3D packages such as SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD or Blender is advantageous
- Experience with the Adobe suite is advantageous
- A keen learner with a strong work ethic with a passion for making a positive impact on the future of our environment.
