The ideal Retail Director will be accountable for the following:
**TITLE: Marketing Director
Reporting To: CEO/Founder

**SUMMARY**

The Marketing Director responsible for developing effective marketing strategies and plans to communicate the features and benefits of our new products and services to our customers. You will handle market research on current trending products, establish timescales with sourcing, design, packaging, communication departments for your upcoming products. You will define international pricing and develop products’ packaging with designers with the right legal mentions for each country. You will develop messaging, storytelling, points of differentiation, and market positioning around our new products and take part in presentations and events to introduce our new products. You will train our sales teams on new products and service launches.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Define, develop, and execute marketing strategy and calendar deployment.
- Guide and manage the day-to-day activities of your marketing team (product managers), develop their skills and marketing knowledge. Keep them motivated and engaged.
- Lead and develop new product and services in closed connection with CEO, sourcing department, the retail team (to get their feedback on consumer needs)
- Measure and research constantly new consumer needs: deep connection with the field
- Negotiate and secure agreements on the production of promotional materials and work very closely with our sourcing department to improve the cost and quality of our products with regular feedback to them. Set up a plan to improve quality when needed. We are only perfectible and you should aim for the best products.
- Work closely with the sales team to collaborate on lead and customer development
- Test new products and constantly improve what you have developed
