As the Senior Director for Products & Solutions Communications, you will be the thought and execution partner to the AP Products and Solutions team. You are a business leader who is passionate about using data and insights to develop impactful communications strategies for execution in Asia Pacific. You will also be passionate about continuous learning and building deep knowledge of the business, products, innovations, and trends in the market and industry in order to be an impactful communications partner for the Products & Solutions function. This role will be responsible for delivering strategic communications counsel to Visa’s Products and Solutions executive team

You will be responsible for:

- Leading the planning, development and execution of communications strategies to drive the Future of Payments and Commerce storyline through a product and innovation lens
- Crafting compelling narratives and messaging that convey Visa's innovation prowess
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry analysts to secure positive coverage and media interview opportunities
- Overseeing the communication plans for new product launches, and partnering with the Products & Solutions team to craft thought leadership content and storylines for product launches.
- Partnering with Products and Solutions function and senior executives to promote product initiatives and increase the overall positive industry awareness of Visa’s innovations, products and profile in across target audiences.
- Developing high-quality written materials that convey Visa’s role in shaping the future of payments and commerce across channels and forms including short and long form content, press releases, blogs, Q&As, client meetings and events, industry engagement opportunities.
- Working closely with executives to prepare them for media interactions, speaking engagements, and thought leadership activities.
- Building and maintaining a strong network of business partners within the organization

**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- At least 15 years of experience in communication or related field, preferably in product marketing or leadership communication role.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences, channels, and formats.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and concise communication.
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for continuous learning and building deep knowledge of the business, market and products.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and diverse teams.
- High level of creativity, innovation, and initiative, with the ability to generate new and fresh ideas.
- Proven project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and other communication tools and platforms.
- Experience coaching senior executives
- Understanding of how to use data and research to drive effort and for measurement of the impact of communications initiatives.
- Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively and take initiative
- Self-starter approach to work, organizational skills and strong problem solver
- Excellent persuasive written and verbal communications skills, including interpersonal and presentation skills.
