SATS Academy is the training arm of SATS group, Asia’s leading provider of food solutions and gateway services. We empower air transport sector employees to embrace the new economy through a series of training programmes. SATS Academy provides workers with training to build relevant soft skills to maintain a competitive edge in the workplace.
**Key Responsibilities** Transforming into a global organization in the learning space**
- Work with colleagues in APAC, EMEAA, and America regions to achieve greater alignment with SATS business and SATS Human Capital direction.
- Leverage good practices in each region for the improvement of SATS group learning and development.
**Accelerating transformation of functional (technical) skills development to meet current & future needs**
- Collaborate and influence Business Units to review the training structure to improve training quality and resource optimization.
- Re-engineer on-boarding program to engage new joiners to have confidence on SATS and able to deliver performance for their roles
- Planning, creating, implementing and improving learning solutions.
- Explore and introduce appropriate learning technologies to maximize learning outcome
- Strengthen structured on-the-job training (OJT) to enable employees to have real practical experiences, and be effective on the ground
- Creative and adaptable in re-designing learning materials
**Nurturing SATS Culture & Shaping Learning Culture**
- Leverage on training initiatives to nurture SATS culture based on SATS people values.
- Contribute ideas / create initiatives in nurturing a life-long learning culture.
- Crafting on-line and off-line / direct - indirect learning experiences to encourage growth mindsets among employees
**Building SATS Academy Quality**
- Review training curriculum to support business goals and strategic objectives through system, framework and tools.
- Build a structure in managing trainer pool dynamics and performance to ensure quality standards.
- Design learning modules for leadership and management skills
- Adopt different training methods based on learning outcomes (e.g. e-learning, virtual)
**Others**:
- Supports and maintains all aspects of the Company’s Learning Management System (LMS)
- Lead and/or contribute in ad-hoc learning projects / change management projects.
**Key Requirements**
- Degree holder in a relevant field with minimum 5 years’ experience in training leadership roles.
- Knowledge in SSG frameworks and ACTA / ACLP certification is preferred
- Strategic, and outcome oriented, and able to be hands-on.
- Resourceful, independent, able to multi-task and strive for continuous improvement
- Proactive & agile learner, able to understand complex business environment and provide effective solutions to improve quality standards of the trainers and the learning outcome.
- Creative and adaptable in designing & re-designing training solutions
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion
- Strong, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of employees
