Deputy Director, Singapore-india Partnership Office

**Responsibilities
**You will join the Singapore-India Partnership Office (SIPO) team on its mission to strengthen and diversify Singapore’s economic relations with India. Based in Singapore, you will lead a team of officers to help Singapore companies enter India, navigate through regulatory frameworks and business norms, and establish strategic contacts with overseas counterparts. You will work with the team and the office to closely engage with India and Singapore’s officials, India’s local business houses, identify key growth industries, develop strategies and projects to help Singapore companies establish a niche in India.
To lead the team, you have strong problem-solving skills, is comfortable in an environment of ambiguity and uncertainty, resourceful and able to see potential and opportunities. You enjoy opportunities to drive, initiate, scope and facilitate the execution of projects across many different sectors with partners in Singapore and India.
**Requirements
**Besides being an excellent multi-tasker, tenacious, resilient and a self-starter, you should also possess good business acumen and strong analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, including writing and presentation, is required.
You should have a degree, preferably at least 10 years of working experience in areas such as business development/consulting. Relevant experience working with the Singapore public sector and/or emerging markets is an advantage.
