UWCSEA Dover is seeking to recruit a PE relief teacher to provide cover for colleagues who are absent on medical or other leave. The PE teacher must be qualified to teach PE to students ag e d from 4 to 1 8 ye ars o ld.

Main Responsibilities
- To teach classes as required with some planning if it is an advanced cover.
- To exhibit strong classroom management skills.
- To provide feedback on student progress if appropriate.
- There may be opportunities to take on supervisory duties (students’ activities).

Expectations and Standards
- Follow the UWCSEA Professional Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Code of Conduct.
- Teach in line with the UWCSEA Teacher Standards

Person Specifications
- A good degree and recognized teaching qualification are essential.
- Experience in teaching students in a school context is essential.
- Experience in an international school context is an advantage.
- A commitment to diversity and inclusion is essential alongside a willingness to adapt and develop pedagogy to meet the needs of our learners.
- Flexibility, positivity and the ability to build rapport with students is important.
