**Purpose of the Role**:
Due to K2 expansion, APAC technical and delivery team looking to hire Engineering Trainee to support our internal design team management and design review work. This person will be working closely with SG HQ based Project Management team to handle the daily design related issues for existing and future projects in APAC region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Assistant Project Manager or Site Delivery Manager in data centre design and construction phases for site management and construction quality control.
- Help to monitor construction activities closely on a regular basis and ensure the data centre facility is built to group's standard.
- Help to review design consultant’s work to ensure design documents are sufficiently developed with all necessary engineering calculations in place.
- Help to maintain K2 internal engineering standard with particular focus on HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Help Assistant Project Manager in works related to project commissioning and final handover activities.
- Help Assistant Project Manager in K2 internal engineering design and development activities.
- Help to uphold the engineering and operation procedures following K2 standard.

**Working environment entails**:

- Walking job sites which have areas of uneven terrain.
- Work at heights.

- Work in confined spaces.
- Work environment applicable to operation team
- Regularly lift and/or move items and participate in group lifts.
- Work shifts longer than eight hours in duration.
- Co-ordinate body movements when using tools or equipment.
- May require bending or twisting the body to access equipment while working.
- Involves performing physical tasks all day.
- Use hands to manipulate small wires and objects.
- Push or pull objects into position.

**Skills Set and Qualifications Requirements**:

- Fresh Graduate with Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
- Working experience in building services design and construction project delivery (data centre projects preferred).
- Good knowledge in Electrical HV/LV distribution Engineering with interest in understanding on data centre project and protection study preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) with experience in Electrical or Mechanical calculation software, such as Etap, IES, E20
- Good command of written and spoken English is required. Additional language skills such as Chinese and/or Bahasa Indonesia/Malaysia will be preferred.
