**Job Purpose**

To operationalize the product strategy for designated global brands across the APAC region, including launch and business planning, and execution of the brand plan in each affiliate and partner.

To develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy, in line with the global strategies, to drive the business success of APAC region.

To develop and implement regional initiatives to drive sales and marketing operational excellence to support short to long-term vision and growth of the APAC region

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute competitive regional-specific sales & marketing strategies, tactical plans, and decision-making needs in line with global sales & marketing strategy, vision, and mission to deliver revenue and profit goals of APAC region. Includes annual business planning activities, brand plan development, sales strategies and additional strategic exercises.
- Support affiliates in translating regional brand strategies and tactical plans into country-specific brand plans, in close collaboration with affiliate’s commercial colleagues and by ensuring deep customer, competitor & environmental understanding and insights are incorporated into plans & excellently execution.
- Successfully support affiliates for product launches.
- Drive and assist affiliates and partners to develop and organise local and regional communications campaigns (conferences, symposiums etc) for franchise products.
- Interaction with KOLs to continuously gather the voices of customers and adapt them to our strategies.
- Collaborate with Global Product Management Office and other geographic regions as needed to ensure sharing, adopting and adapting of best practices with KKAP affiliates.
- Ensure forecast accuracy through regular and structured collaboration with regional SCM and affiliates commercial team.
- Ensure supply chain integrity and proactively manage stock levels across affiliates to minimize supply disruptions and quality issues.
- Identify strategic risks and establish early mechanisms to prevent derailment of the plans and put in place action plans to mitigate the risk.
- Monitor competitor products and their strategies in the area so as to advise affiliates and partners on the need to adapt marketing plans appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with all industry standards and company policies.
- Innovate, bring ideas and challenge the thinking in relation to Franchise commercial strategy and ensure plans are focused on serving the needs of the patient.
- Partner with affiliates’ commercial colleagues and cross-functional regional functions to ensure optimisation and implementation of project plans and strategies.
- Drive exceptional performance against internal & external metrics and set a clear KPI to track and monitor the performance and align goals and strategy on a regular basis.
- Support Regional Product Franchise head with market research, market intelligence, and sales & marketing and other commercial activities in expanding the Franchise through geographic expansion, business partner collaboration, and business development activity.

**Position Requirements**
- Successful senior pharmaceutical professional with experience of being a Business Unit head with P&L responsibility.
- Demonstrated team leadership experience, developing and managing multi-disciplinary senior teams both directly and indirectly across diverse geographies.
- Rare disease and hemato-oncology experience preferred.
- Demonstrated successful launch and commercial experience track-record with products related to the Franchise.
- Ability to both develop and implement strategy.
