**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Category Executive/Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plans for assigned categories within the framework of a disciplined category management business process so as to achieve company's financial goals and objectives, improve market share, customer satisfaction and productivity performance measures forthe company.
- Achieve category sales, gross profit and income goals and objectives of assigned categories through monitoring trends within the market segments; developing strategies to grow the market share of assigned categories and to plan strategies to counter competition.
- Develop and implement an optimum product mix that focuses on customers' needs.
- Develop and implement promotional plans that bring excitement as well as incremental sales to the stores.
- Develop and implement placement and planogram strategies that improve category turnover and positively influencecustomer shopping behaviour.
- Develop and implement a competitive pricing strategy that delivers value to our customers.
- Establish collaborative retailer/supplier relationships to maximise income/terms/discounts to improvesales and profitability.
- Develop short and long term plans to grow the assigned categories.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Result oriented, take pride and ownership on execution of every assigned tasks
- Able to engage peers and stakeholders professionally
- Able to adapt and adopt analytic knowledge on Dashboard system
- Possess positive attitude and mind set learning newthings, to adapt and embrace changes

**OTHER INFORMATION**
- Work location: FairPrice Hub (next to Joo Koon MRT station)
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 6pm)
