**Security Consultant
- Active Directory**

**Position Summary**:
The Active Directory Security Consultant is responsible for providing technical guidance and support over the entire duration of customers AD Security journey with Tenable. In this post sales role, you will work closely with our customers to design custom architectures and support AD security solution integration into large-scale enterprise corporate networks.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Executing client engagements that exceed expectations based on strong understanding of the client’s business and their unique needs by:

- Providing recommendations on architecture, deployment, and proper configuration of Tenable security solutions
- Advising clients on process best practices enabled by Tenable solutions
- Advising on integration scenarios to clarify desired workflows and outcomes
- Research client needs/requirements and identify areas where changes can make maximum impact
- Managing the technical delivery, onboarding and implementation of Tenable solutions; in collaboration with our network of partners
- Leading technical sessions that help customers and partners to leverage Tenable product features and capabilities through fine-tuning of the solution (customer and channel partners knowledge transfer)
- Acting as primary technical contact, providing advisory services.
- Establishing an outstanding customer experience blueprint with Tenable solutions
- Partnering with Customer Success Managers in driving client retention and identifying business expansion and growth opportunities

**Required skills and experience**:

- Recent in-depth experience performing vulnerability scans, configuration audits, security monitoring with core Tenable products, or other industry solutions
- In depth knowledge of networks, Linux/Unix and Windows administration, patch deployment and system configuration
- 5+ years’ experience of integrating solution into large-scale corporate environment
- 5+ years’ Technical experience with Active Directory
- Ability to work as a customer facing engineer and communicate solution and technical information
- Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills
- Technical knowledge of regular corporate infrastructure services (VPN,WSUS, PKI, etc.)
- Focus and time management skills to work on-site
- Mastery of PowerPoint including ability to formalize visually seducing and technically precise schemas
- Strong relational and empathic capabilities
- Versatile IT skills, and eager to learn new technologies
- Experience with enterprise architecture principles in SaaS and on-premise environments
- Delivery-oriented person with a high interest in providing reliable resultsCritical thinking, problem resolution oriented individual, open to out-of-the-box thinking
- Knowledge of Cyber Threat Landscape, common breach techniques and associated vulnerabilities
- Consulting skills with an emphasis on client management, objection handling and a commitment to client success

**Education**:Bachelor's degree in an IT related field 5+ years’ experience in IT, security, risk management or professional services
