Senior Clinic Optometrist

Opened in July 2013 and located in Suntec City Mall, W Eye Clinic is a private eye care facility that offers LASIK, Advanced Surface Ablation, Intra-Ocular Lens Implants, and other comprehensive eye care services. W Eye Clinic aims to set itself apart by becoming a new benchmark for LASIK and Specialist Eye Care in Singapore. We believe in employing experienced doctors, nurses and optometrists to provide our patients proper care and attention.

**Job Description of Optometrist / Clinic Manager**
- Perform refraction, diagnostic eye test, full general eye check, operating diagnostic equipment
- Assisting the doctor with the functioning of the LASIK equipment and simple procedures
- Financial and pre-operation counseling
- Front counter duties - e.g. registration, dispensing medications, collection of payment, appointment fixing
- Assist Medical Director in daily functions, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Ensure that the clinic is clean and well-maintained.
- Responsible for the management of service quality standards, patient care
- Manage medical insurance claims of patients
- counting daily cash flow and closing accounts daily
- Coordination and administration of surgery for Medical Staff
- Ensure timely and up-to-date maintenance/ repair of clinic equipment
- Maintain and develop SOPs for clinic operations
- Manage feedback, service recovery & improvement plans.
- Manage staff by assigning and delegating tasks as needed
- Engaged in the monitoring of discipline and conduct of all staff
- Ensure that all administrative procedures, records, and documentation are in compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
- To undertake any other ad-hoc projects or any other responsibilities and assignments as assigned by the Management/Medical Director

**Requirements**:

- Possess 3-5 years of managerial/supervisor experience, will be preferred
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Preferably has worked as an Optometrist in a Clinic or Hospital setting. Prior experience in OT setting will be an advantage
- Fast and independent worker, good team player, with good interpersonal skills
- 5.5 days’ work week

**Salary**: $5,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
