Job Description & Requirements

The E&IC Field/site Engineer is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day field Electrical & instrumentation installation
activities on the Project. The individual in this role ensures adherence to design basis and quality requirements for all assigned
electrical & instrumentation and support installation works.
- Provides technical assistance to the contractor and keeps them informed on matters relating to safety and quality control.
- Performs coordination and communications with Design Engineering to resolve technical problems.
- Initiates, coordinates, and oversees the implementation of design changes.
- General coordination with multiple groups across jobsite (design, QC, subcontractors, etc.).
- Support the Construction Manager in resolving issues related to applicable Electrical & instrumentation installations and

activities.
- Provide technical support to the onsite construction and commissioning teams, projects department and procurement

department.
- Co-ordinate with engineers of other disciplines within the operation department.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, contractors to resolve technical issue at site.
- Able to read and interpret Electrical & Instrumentation drawings and technical specifications.
- Assist Construction Manager in handling and monitoring progress of E & I Works.
- Familiar with the calibration and testing of instruments/equipment in process plant.
- Supervise a group of subcontractors and ensure that works are executed within and acceptable standard of workmanship.
- Prepare site progress report and necessary project documentation that may include method statement

Coordinating inspection and testing activities.
- Revise and review revisions to project procedures and method statements as needed.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering, or other related disciplines plus 6 years' experience in Engineering, Construction, design, or related discipline OR
- Diploma in related Engineering with 9 years' experience in Engineering, Construction, design.
- Extensive knowledge of the Construction process.
- Ability to read and interpret ISO/GA/P&ID/hook-up drawings & logic diagrams.
- Familiar and experience with various water and wastewater technologies & EPC projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical thinking, interpersonal/communication skills, writing and problem-solving capacities.
- Reliable, well-organized and detail oriented.
- Applicants must be willing to travel as and when required

Our client is looking for a person who has experience in E & IC with QC background and willing to work on site.

Job location : West, Singapore

Work week : 5.5days

Salary : $6000-$8000 depending on experience

This is a Permanent position.
