**Job Title**:Senior Associate, Planning

**Primary Purpose**: To manage sales and inventory forecasting for our Direct Specialty and Outlet businesses.

- Create annual monthly sales and inventory plans by store and by department which tie to the annual operating plan
- Own department and class level open-to-buys, identifying risks and opportunities to achieve sales plans
- Manage inventory purchases, during seasonal market and in-season chases, to achieve monthly and annual turn targets
- Manage style & SKU level planning for replenishment programs
- Work closely with buying team to manage product assortment strategies by location
- Partner with cross functional teams and Finance to manage monthly sales, margin and KPI forecast submissions
- Manage store level sales and KPI forecasts to achieve topline sale plans
- Develop, maintain and update weekly and monthly reporting templates/tools
- Analyze weekly and monthly business performance, by category and style level, to identify risks and opportunities
- Manage promotional calendar with cross functional teams, to ensure sales goals are achieved
- Manage and communicate seasonal markdowns, understanding impact to sales and margin

- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years merchandise planning experience; 4-6 years of total work experience
- Superior computer skills & overall systems savvy with advanced knowledge of Excel
- Functioning knowledge of planning & reporting systems
- Product and merchandising sensibility
- Excellent team working skills with ability to manage cross-functional relationships across multiple levels
- Excellent retail math and analytical skills
- Flexible and resourceful with ability to work well independently
