The Network Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure and reliable network infrastructure for our organization. This role ensures the optimal performance of our network as well as the protection of our data and systems from cyber threats.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Network Design and Implementation**:Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
Install and configure network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
- **Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:Proactively monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security incidents.
Perform scheduled maintenance, software upgrades, and security patches.
- **Security Administration**:Implement and manage network security solutions (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access controls, etc.).
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Respond to security incidents and investigate breaches.
- **Security Awareness and Compliance**:Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Conduct security awareness training for employees.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.
- **Documentation**:Maintain comprehensive documentation of network and security configurations, procedures, and incidents.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in network and security roles.
- Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CCNA Network, Security, CISSP, CEH). Experience managing network and security projects.

**Required Skills**:

- Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing protocols, etc.) and security principles.
- Proficiency in firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
