Shift Process Engineer

**Requirements**:

- Assist in the operation of processes for the production of VAM products. The shift role may focus on the following managing processes and manpower, improving product lines, modifying the processing plant that produces the products.
- Troubleshoot any issues in VAM with relation to normal operation and abnormal situations.
- Confirm if all trip system is operating normally.
- Supervise and ensure the completion of routine works in the plant.
- Coordinate with the Mechanical Department for their routine maintenance works.
- Suggests process improvement to ensure personnel and equipment safety, lower pollution in waste water and waste gas.
- Act as a bridge between superiors and subordinates using proper administrative means.
- Manage manpower shift based on individual capabilities.
- Improve the knowledge of new personnel using standard working instructions and ensure they strictly follow the stipulated procedures.
- Nominate personnel with good performance; persuade and correct personnel who break the rules. Highlight performance issues to superior depending on the situation and evaluate the performance for all personnel within the shift.
- Inspect the site and conduct external coordination during night shift.
- Perform tasks assigned by superiors during scheduled shutdown.
- Accept instructions from superior and facilitate passing of information during shift handover.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering
- Fresh graduates are also welcome
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interact with people at all levels
- Good analytical and solving problem skills
