**Baker**

Job scope:

- Prepare ingredients, handle baking and other kitchen equipment according to SOP to achieve consistency of food execution and food quality
- Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use
- Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
- Kneading, cutting and dough shaping in order to prepare different types of pastries, including croissants, breads, cookies or sweet rolls
- Bake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes and multigrain breads
- Crafting and creating new and exciting baked pastries/ breads/ pastry
- Monitor oven temperatures, speed settings, mixing machine and other baking equipment
- Mix various ingredients to create fillings for pastries, bread, cakes or pies
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.

Require Skills/ Qualifications:

- Understanding of food safety practices
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
- Eye for detail during mix, proof, shape, and bake
- Possess passion in Baking & Pastry
- Experience with gluten free, refined sugar free and vegan baking a plus
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety precautions and regulation
- Experience with baking continental bread (sourdough, baguette, brioche, loafs, buns/rolls)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and follow recipe
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays
