**Job Description**:
Aviation Week Network is a part of Informa PLC and is a market leader in a range of aviation industry products and services.

We are seeking an ambitious and driven **Air Transport Director** to establish strategic relationships with senior regional stakeholders that will generate revenue for the full suite of Aviation Week Network services.

These include **events, marketing services, media and advertising, and information services**.

The position requires an individual with the skills and track record to undertake a sales / business development role among the higher C-Suite and Board levels.

Target communities include airports, airport management companies, shareholders and airports city and government stakeholder organizations.

**Responsibilities and duties will include**:
Placing Aviation Week Network and its various brands (CAPA, Routes, ASM, ATW, GAD etc) at the core of regional air services development is central to the value proposition to be promoted by this position.

Strategy development, airline representation, marketing services and event hosting are all fundamental elements for discussion with key regional leaders.

The position will be expected to have detailed knowledge of core and emerging sectors impacting aviation across Asia-Pacific, including:

- Route development and destinations
- Fleet planning and finance
- Sustainability
- Airport infrastructure and development
- Air cargo

**The position will also be measured against the following criteria**:

- Developing and managing a strong pipeline of high value, multi-year strategic agreements.
- Nurturing and expanding the company's relationship with senior leaders across Asia-Pacific.
- Acting as a point of contact for global company interactions with relevant regional entities, and reporting activity back to senior leadership at Aviation Week Network.
- Keeping abreast of aviation industry and technology news and developments for an understanding of customer issues, market trends, and competitor services.
- Contributing to the development of strategic business plans and marketing initiatives and to the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, quotes and other projections.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including ability to lead client presentations.
- Ability to travel as needed to company events, industry conferences/exhibitions, and client site visits.
- Bachelor’s degree and experience selling services in an aviation B2B environment essential.
