Analyst Tax

**About GlobalFoundries**

**Your Job**:

- Preparation of quarterly current and deferred tax computations
- Support corporate tax accounting function and tax notes preparation for financial statement disclosure purpose
- Preparation of computations/memos to support incentive reporting to statutory boards
- Involve in income tax returns preparation work for mainly Asia Pacific entities which include Singapore, Malaysia, India, China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan
- Provide support in corporate tax planning and advisory
- Provide support in other tax aspects (e.g. country-by-country reporting, withholding tax)
- Monitor the introduction of new tax legislation to ensure compliance with these new legislation
- To make use of technology such as Alteryx/Power BI for data collation/presentation purposes
- Handle ad hoc tax related projects as assigned from time to time.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Degree in Accountancy or Taxation or professional qualifications recognized by ICPAS
- 1-3 years of experience in taxation discipline in a Big 4 public accounting firm or a combination of Big 4 and MNC industry
- Background in Singapore corporate tax compliance, experience in handling tax incentives is an added advantage
- Strong accounting background/experience with accounting systems preferred
- Possess ability to process huge data sets and make use of new technology tools to simplify process
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical, strong business/commercial sense, team player, result-oriented with high levels of drive and initiative
- Effective workload prioritization and meeting of deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
