**Introduction to GlobalFoundries**

**Summary of Role**:
As an Analyst within the Global Supply Management team, the incumbent will perform activities related to material procurement, outsourcing, and vendor selection.

**Essential Duties**

You will be responsible but not limited for the following tasks:

- Performs activities related to the purchasing of materials, equipment and services for internal company use.
- Develops, implements and communicates company policies and procedures for purchasing.
- Reviews purchase requests for completeness and compliance with company requirements.
- May coordinate purchasing activities with the engineering and manufacturing departments to maintain inventories at planned levels.
- Negotiates with vendors and approves purchases of authorized amounts or sizes.
- Maintains and updates purchasing orders, systems, and documentation. Monitors the cost, schedule and performance metrics of contracts and subcontracts.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
- Works on other projects and/or assignments as needed.

**Education/Experience Required**
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field (engineering, business management, or supply chain)
- Good communicator and interpersonal skills dealing with internal customers and suppliers
- Enjoys solving problems and tackling challenges
- Positive attitude and self-driven
- A good team player
- Strong analytical capabilities, e.g., strong data cleaning skills, advanced excel, Power BI, VBA, etc.
