**Responsibilities**:

- Support the end-to-end process of the Real Estate Annual and Quarterly Index production, including the data collection, verification and report writing. Ensure the indices and their corresponding publications are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manage the development and ongoing maintenance of the databases and index. Actively seek to expand coverage, and improve data quality and accuracy of the vehicles database and the index.
- Provide supporting data and analysis for internal and external research projects; work closely with the Real Estate committees on projects related to performance measurement and benchmarking, as well as other working groups where appropriate and necessary.
- Develop an expertise of the private equity real estate funds industry; be aware of fund types and features, market trends and industry players and new funds launched in the market.
- Support the research associate director for each survey project in data collection and data analysis
- Support the Research director in the Research committee
- Responsible of ongoing maintenance of the website with new products/publications

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of a bachelor degree, with a major in finance, econometrics, statistics, accounting, real estate or mathematics.
- CFA/CAIA is an advantage
- At least one to two years relevant work experience (i.e. fund analyst, investment management, equity research position) with strong preference for previous knowledge of the private equity real estate industry or alternative investment industry
- Excellent communication skills, both in written and oral English
- Experience of analysing large datasets, as well as preparing presentations.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint. Good knowledge of VBA, Python or simple programming is a plus. Good understanding of database structures and visualisation tools such as PowerBI.
