**Internship Role: Electronics Engineer (Hardware/Firmware)
Join our dynamic internship program as an Electronics Engineer (Hardware/Firmware) and become an integral part of our multi-disciplined team.

Contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge battery pack systems, involving tasks such as circuit design, simulation, and verification testing to ensure top-notch quality and manufacturability.

As a member of our team, you will be involved in end-to-end hardware development, emphasizing circuit design, mechanical design, testing & validation, and seamless hardware integration within the product.

Ensure compliance requirements are met while collaborating closely with other functions within hardware and manufacturing teams to guarantee robustness and manufacturability of our products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and test algorithms for seamless electronics, software, and hardware integration.
- Conduct testing and analysis of electronics at both circuit and product levels for new designs.
- Provide support to different teams on product development and testing as per requirements.
- Assess the reliability and robustness of our designs through thorough testing.
- Engage in electronic circuit design and mechanical design for prototyping and concept proofing.
- Tackle electronics challenges creatively to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of Orient's unique products.
- You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across Research, Design & Development (RDD), working closely with product developers, and mechanical and software engineers to ensure our solutions are functional, secure, and user-friendly.

Qualifications:

- Term-based opportunities for summer and winter internships.
- Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Advantageous to have majored or taken modules in electronics, computer engineering/science, or relevant fields.
- Approach problem-solving with creativity to contribute to enhancing Orient's machines.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment at Orient.
