Sj Lifeguard

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain poolside surveillance and patrols to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies
- Execute water rescues and first aid when needed, following established emergency procedures
- Enforce swimming complex rules respectfully and clearly
- Conduct routine inspections of lifesaving equipment and the surrounding environment
- Be fully versed in the SOPs of the assigned swimming complex, including emergency action plans

Requirements
- Valid Bronze Medallion (Singapore Life Saving Society) or WSQ National Pool Lifeguard Certification
- Valid Standard First Aid with AED Certification
- Must pass a proficiency assessment conducted by SportSG
- Willing to work on split shifts and weekends (overtime payable)
- Prior experience is a bonus - remuneration will be adjusted accordingly Career Progression & Development

- Fitness Trainer Pathway - certified training professionals may have the opportunity to support key national-level projects under SJD
- SJLG Audit & Performance Team - for those with an eye for detail and a drive to enhance standards, this pathway leads to roles in quality assurance, lifeguard audits, and performance reviews
- Operations & Management Track - for individuals interested in scheduling, deployment planning, and site-level operational excellence
