**Be a part of something BIG**

The role of Senior Cloud Associate Engineer is to provide operational support to the Cloud system infrastructure and services defined by the respective customers by Service Levels.

**Make an Impact by**:

- To provide 24x7 Support in responding promptly to system alerts, attend to incident escalation, incident troubleshooting, perform service recovery.
- Provisioning and de-provisioning Public Cloud (eg. AWS, AZURE, GCP) or Private Cloud accounts for customers with little supervision (or follow established SOP/Work Instructions).
- Deploying, managing, and operating Public Cloud (eg. AWS, AZURE, GCP) or Private Cloud environments with little supervision (or follow established SOP/Work Instructions).
- Good understanding of Public Cloud operational best practices & able to adopt with little supervision.
- Able to provide support in SAN storage administration (EMC, HP 3PAR) & Backup (Avamar, CommVault)
- Able to keep technical documentation up to date
- Strong understanding on change management process & able to follow diligently.
- Able to monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & availability.
- Monitor the agreed service level & provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
- Ensure service level meets the requirement. Propose and implement action plan when required.
- Monitor Cloud Infrastructure according to standard operations procedures.
- Able to support root cause analysis & implement pro-active measures.
- Good understanding of security standards or best practices & adhering to it to avoid security breaches and reduce system vulnerability.
- Able to provide input to security audits (as required).

**Skills for Success**:

- A good engineering or computing Diploma

**Good to have**:

- ITIL v3 Foundation Certification - Mandatory
- VMWare VCP Certification or Training will be a plus.
- Certification in Azure System Administration
- Certification in AWS System Administration
- AWS System Admin Experience
- Azure System Admin Experience
- vSphere 6.x System Admin Experience
- NSX -v/NSX-T Network Admin Experience
- vCloud Director Admin Experience
- Experience with Automation Tools (python and others)
- Experience Configuration tool (Terraform and others)
