Roles & Responsibilities
- Report to Senior Manager for IT Application Administration & Support on Secured Network.
- The IT Application Engineer shall undertake the role of Application Administrator (AA) and proactively manage the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) & Computer Aided Design (CAD) Application Servers & Services to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime.
- Set up User accounts and workstations, Ensure project data security through access controls.
- Manage, coordinate, and implement PLM & CAD software upgrades, patches, hot fixes.
- Ensure error-free PLM Application & Database backups and perform restoration tests or disaster recovery exercises when required.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory and configuration documentation for PLM Application and Customised Programs.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts to improve business processes.
- Provide IT support to the end users, investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the PLM system can operate correctly & efficiently.
- Perform Application enhancements and explore with latest technological demands to meet new business requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation according to organizational policies and practices.
- Perform necessary reviews in accordance with compliance policies or practices. (e.g. account reviews, log reviews etc).
- Support audit and compliance activities.
- Work with other departments for productivity enhancements, error / cost reductions and other improvement projects as and when needed.
- Demonstrating PLM & CAD system new Capabilities or enhancements to end users before implementation.
- Coordinate / Perform Level 1,2 and 3 support and helpdesk service requests.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or Information System.
- Qualified and trained in Unigraphics (NX), Solidworks, Creo Parametric (Pro-E) & Teamcenter PLM Applications.
- Certification in Microsoft Window Server (2012 above), Microsoft SQL (2016 above) and Oracle (9i & above) Database Administration will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Java, UFUNC, GRIP, C & C++ Structure Programming languages.
- Minimum 2 years Industry experience with CAD/CAM, & PLM Application.
- Applicants with knowledge and/ or experience of Unigraphic (NX), Creo Parametric (Pro E), Solidworks and Teamcenter would be of interest
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to identify, determine & resolve Design Workstation’s malfunctions and issues related to CAD Tools & PLM Teamcenter.
- Adaptable to changes with a positive attitude.
