Job Description

As a Manager, Finance, you will ensure proper reporting of the organisation’s financials in compliance with IFRS standards, and alignment to group policies. You will be responsible for submitting reports to management and relevant authorities. You would also be assigned with projects in view of improving the overall quality of accounting within the BU

(1) Financial Accounting
- Managing the daily operations of the accounting functions of GL, Postal Cash Accounting and Statistics Reporting to IMDA
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles by understanding current and proposed legislation, generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards in view of improving the quality of accounting processes
- Strengthening internal controls Improve systems and procedures, and initiate corrective actions
- Overseeing and reviewing works done by the finance team
- Support the Budget/Forecast and Long-Term Plan exercises
- Provide governance and audit for Postal Cash Accounting (Retail collections)

(2) Project Finance
- Assist to influence the financial performance of key capital expenditure proposals by providing financial and relevant recommendations to key decision makers

(3) Be the Change Agent
- Support the provision of advisories to cross functional teams in delivering continuous value
- Execute adoptions derived from change management techniques
- Support Functional transformation

(4) People Development & Culture
- Build a competent team via coaching, mentoring, and providing guidance
- Inculcate continuous training to upskill and drive a high performing team
- Inculcate SingPost values as part of our DNA
