Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for operations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safely store materials, equipment, and supplies in designated storage areas.
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and identification of stored items for easy retrieval.
- Implement and maintain effective storage practices to maximize space utilization and minimize damage.
- Prepare and issue materials, equipment, and supplies to authorized personnel as per requisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of materials issued and received, including quantities and locations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient distribution of materials as needed.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics as required.
- Maintain documentation related to inventory transactions, such as purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of materials.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly and take appropriate corrective actions.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems is desirable.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional certifications in warehouse management or inventory control are a plus.
