If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you As our IT Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and evaluating the systems that keep our operations running smoothly.

Your job

You'll work closely with our business units to align their strategies with our IT systems, and you'll be responsible for configuring our systems to match the needs of our business. You'll prepare detailed reports on functional impact assessments and investigations, and you'll create comprehensive specifications for migrations, interfaces, and reports.

**Profile**:
To excel in this role, you should have a tertiary qualification in IT, finance, or a related field, and ideally, you'll have 6-8 years of business analysis experience, including 2-3 years in the financial services/insurance industry. You should have business analyst training/certification and be familiar with project management methodology and agile project skills, including awareness of software development methodology. Experience with reinsurance, actuarial, and administration projects is a plus.

You should have intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SQL, and you should have the experience and aptitude to become an expert in various in-house systems, query tools, change management tools, and report writing tools.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to engage, elicit, and guide multiple stakeholders within IT and the business.
