**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Promotes a positive QSHE culture that will make Brenntag the safest and most reliable chemical supply partner for customers, suppliers, employees, contractors and the general community.

The role is to ensure that safety management is integrated into every single activity performed by Brenntag. This will require the assurance that all processes be designed with an integrated customer safety, health and environment priority, where risks are identified and mitigated to the level that enables processes to be carried out effectively, responsibly and efficiently, demonstrating the respect for people and the environment thereby enabling us to deliver the best service to our customers, every time and permanently.
- Prepare corporate QSHE policies and validate them with senior top management.
- Build and maintain effective communications with regional management, obtaining necessary support for the establishment of a QSHE culture of excellence, and the implementation of the corporate QSHE policies.
- Communicate QSHE policies internally, ensuring that they are known and implemented in all company levels.
- Prepare and communicate Global QSHE management guidelines that are to be used as a basis for the organization of the regional QSHE management systems that will include employees, clients, suppliers and contractors.
- Organize and support strong regional QSHE management teams that report directly to senior regional management, capable of leading the expected QSHE culture in all levels.
- Support the implementation of regional QSHE management systems, ensuring that they meet corporate objectives, industry best practices and applicable regulations, including Responsible Care© and ISO.
- Actively promote preventive action plans and establish a learning environment to communicate lessons from best practices and near-miss investigations.
- Participate in reportable events investigations and ensure a continuous improvement process approach.
- Support regional QSHE internal reporting and knowledge sharing mechanisms focused on preventive actions throughout the chemical supply chain.
- Setup and coordinate corporate QSHE internal and external audits, developing senior internal auditors.
- Support the communication of Global QSHE reports to external stakeholders such as authorities, shareholders and other interested parties.
- Maintain a QSHE continuous improvement environment that enables the best industry performance worldwide and in every region.
- Provide QSHE training and technical support in compliance, certifications, acquisitions and integrations.
- Manage the corporate QSHE budget, and assist the regions in the preparation of regional QSHE budgets.
- Coordinate a corporate QSHE positive recognition mechanism for exceptional QSHE contributions from employees and contractors. This includes an annual QSHE award for local, regional and corporate levels.
- Setup and maintain regional programs for QSHE performance tracking that includes every company employee.
- Give technical support for new site constructions, integrations and major process changes, including QSHE training and validations of critical projects.

**YOUR PROFILE**:
Education :Degree

Experience:

- Engineer with QSHE specialization
- Significant experience in the chemical related business, with a solid understanding of the chemical supply chain organization.
- Customer orientation, with a deep understanding of the chemical distribution business service level requirements.
- Strong verbal and oral communications skills.
- Must be able to work comfortably at both senior management and production floor levels.
- Must be respectful and receptive and knowledgeable of diverse work environments.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Work requires physical dexterity to endure travel and presential production floor activities.
