**The Role**

The Boarding Officer (Operations) is a key operational role responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of cargo handling processes, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and maintaining effective communication with ship personnel and relevant stakeholders. This role demands organizational skills, adaptability to work irregular hours, and the ability to manage both on-site operations and paperwork efficiently.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with ship captains, chief engineers, surveyors, and personnel from loading terminals.
- Attend on-site operations to monitor cargo loading and unloading, ensuring all activities align with the client's specifications and standards.
- Oversee vessel arrivals and departures, ensuring timely communication and coordination.
- Handle cargo documentation, including invoices and inwards shipment paperwork.
- Liaise with local agencies to address daily operational matters when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client specifications.
- Monitor resource utilization and identify opportunities for optimization to enhance operational efficiency.
- Propose workflow improvements and implement solutions to improve operational processes.
- Resolve any problems or challenges that arise during the course of work, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.

**Job Requirement**:

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage both on-site operations and documentation.
