Material Planning Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist the senior manager in leading a team of material planners in delivering strong inventory performance and client satisfaction through the reliability of the material supply
Responsible for defining planning parameters and strategies in relation to inventory budget and customer SLA.
Communicate to internal stakeholders the possible impact to client service level, inventory value, warehousing, production for any major changes in the planning strategies.
Take ownership of material supply issues and work with material planner or any other functions needed for resolution.
Provide Inventory management in root cause analysis on SLOB and execute recovery actions to minimize write off
Collaborate with Sourcing team to reduce overall supply lead-time, participate in supplier performance review and lead supplier non-conformance meetings.
Represent ops planning in key projects and focal meetings in supply chain and manufacturing

Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a material planning and procurement role

Proficient in SAP ECC and Kinaxis as an added advantage
