General Accountant
- Deliver financial accounting, control, analysis, report, and ensure a regulatory compliance by maintaining a robust financial control environment, for Finance and Accounting;
- Check and validate all accounting transactions. Make sure all journals entries are documented, reviewed, and approved properly in accordance with company regulations;
- Invoice/payment request verification, AP parking and upload payment transactions to HSBCnet for managers’ reviewing and approvals in accordance with company regulations;
- Petty cash handling and reporting;
- Performing monthly accounting book closing entries (depreciation, prepaid amortization, accruals, Inter-company transactions, FX revaluation and translation, etc );
- Manage general ledger, make sure all B/S items have to be reconciled clearly and in details;
- Completely and accurately record Fixed Assets acquisitions, transfer, dispositions and related depreciation according to the company’s policies and local tax requirements;
- Handle all taxes filing, coordinate with Tax Consultants to provide the necessary information, validate the tax declaration and reconcile the tax records;
- Finalization and submission of monthly/ quarterly/ annual taxes and statutory reports, Financial Statements to local authorities;
- Dealing with local taxation authorities pertaining to all kind of taxes and initial handling the taxation matters arising;
- Implement action plans as needed to improve financial performance and cost effectiveness;
- Support in Internal Audit, Statutory Audit and Tax Audit (if any);
- Ad-hoc reporting assigned by Finance Manager;
- Other tasks or special projects assigned by Finance Manger;
