As Senior Go-To-Market Innovation Strategist in the Creative Play Lab, you’ll be proposing and testing how to reach hard-to-reach audiences in new and exciting ways for The LEGO Group.
It is quite possible that you have not done this exact job before, but you are likely in senior creative or brand strategy role right now on the agency side or a challenger brand side and craving to do more innovative work. You are completely comfortable analysing data, forming audience insights and building options for strategic directions, fast. You can come up with new marketing solutions, being inspired by what you see in the world - culture trends, changing audience behaviours or changing market dynamics or new technology This is a truly blended strategy role, where you will demonstrate creative flair with business understanding. You are not only a creative soul, relentlessly asking ‘what if we did this’ but come with a strong commercial sense and appreciation for business results.
This role reports into GTM Innovation Director, and relies heavily on collaboration with GTM Experimentation team, Business Modelling team and various Creative partners. No one day will be the same; you’ll often find yourself on the floor playing with kids, or spending an afternoon buried in rich data to analyze new trends or you’ll be designing an industry-first branded experience that maximizes AI technology to test it in real world in record time. It will never be dull
**Core Responsibilities**
- GTM innovation strategy: you will be responsible for exploring and forming audience insights; identifying and prioritizing the most impactful audience and culture signals that can inspire new ways to go to market
- Ideating new GTM innovations: you will be responsible for designing new branded experiences, new ways to reach hard-to-reach audiences, new communications or content innovation strategies, or new channels all together
- Experimentation: you will partner with GTM Experimentation team to create proof of concepts and prototype experiences to test; reporting the results back to the business, based on proven or disproven hypotheses.
- Leadership: you will build relationships with the relevant parts of the marketing organisation to scale what we see working. You’ll be a brave leader, proposing how and why we could do things differently.
- You’re comfortable in ambiguity, test & learn mentality and iterative approaches and keen to always learn. You’re curious and interested in human behaviour.
