The incumbent shall lead and manage the Mechanical Maintenance team to plan, schedule and maintain site-wide equipment/facilities, achieving high equipment reliability in compliance with cGMP, EHS and regulatory requirements in a cost-effective manner.

He/She shall lead and manage the Reliability & Inspection team ensuring reliability & inspection program for plant equipment/facilities by developing testing specifications, methods, conducting equipment inspections, analyzing data, provide recommendations and conduct follow up monitoring/improvements.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the Mechanical Maintenance team operation (Mechanical, Reliability and Inspection, Planning and EAMS Administration) by developing, implementing, executing repairs/preventive/predictive maintenance programs, EAMS administration to maintain site wide equipment and facilities in compliance with cGMP, EHS and regulatory requirements in a cost effective manner.
- Identify current and future maintenance requirements and develop operational strategies by establishing policies/procedures, monitoring job results & KPIs, resolving maintenance/Reliability & Inspection related issues to achieve high equipment reliability.
- Protect business and employees by maintaining a safe and clean working environment through implementation of Mechanical Integrity program and contributions to all safety enhancement programs.
- Achieve minimum disruptions to site operation through well planned/coordinated maintenance and shutdown activities with area owners.
- Lead/drive/support the team to focus on Safety and GMP Compliance as operational priorities (include metrics), know the process and procedures, including the principles and practices of ALCOA.
- Develop effective monitor action for team. Ensure daily presence in GMP work area to observe work activity and practices within their role responsibilities. Be vigilant for potential actions or behaviors that could result in breaches of GMP compliance or Data Integrity principles.
- Lead/drive/support the team for real time escalations of any concerns or needs. Observant, investigate and report actions or behaviors that may negatively impact the desired outcome of the GMP process or activity.
- Support new project development/MOC implementation by reviewing project plans; discussing equipment needs and modification issues with engineer/related parties; evaluate MRO spare requirement, coordinating maintenance resources on inspections and commissioning of new equipment to conform with operational standards.
- Achieve financial objectives by managing the Mechanical Maintenance budgets, scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions and improvements.
- Improve the Mechanical Maintenance teams job performance through continue development and upgrading of staffs competency skills, coaching and counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Participate IMEx API Tier 2 meetings and address engineering issues based on priority.
- Participate and support global initiatives to share/learn best practices and implement improvements to achieve high equipment reliability.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing desired results/KPIs.
- Engage and inspire their teams on performance expectations and coach team to meet those expectations using Coaching Skills principles.
- Focus on Safety and GMP Compliance as operational priorities and as performance measures that should include metrics.
- Know the process and procedures, including the principles and practices of good data management (ALCOA), and be able to guide, advise and coach their teams.
- Be accountable for the Good Data Management and Data integrity understanding and performance of their team.
- Effectively monitor the actions of their team. Ensure an active daily presence is GMP work area to observe work activity and practices within their role responsibilities

- Be available to their direct reports for real time escalations of any concerns or support needs.
- Be observant, investigate and report actions or behaviors that may negatively impact the desired outcome of the GMP process or activity
- Lead and support continuous improvement efforts, where applicable.
- Be a role model to support a positive compliance culture.
- Review the content of all Leader Led Conversation and, on an annual basis, conduct two ‘LeaderLed Conversations’ with their teams aimed at fostering a culture that supports compliance with procedures, including good data management.
- Be vigilant for potential actions or behaviors that could result in breaches of GMP compliance or Data Integrity principles.
