**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain domain knowledge as a SME and act on it as needed.
- Help with billing priority concerns, incidents, and difficulties.
- Capture and disseminate best-practice information among our technical groups.
- Lead by example in technical and SME leadership.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures and procedures (SOPs) for reliable, repeatable, and optimum service delivery.
- Ensure that the team's work meets the highest quality standards.
- Ensure that we always provide the service that we have promised to our internal partners.
- Establish, maintain, and nurture positive relationships with essential contacts and vendors.
- Maintain high standards of service for capability services provided.
- Ensure that the team's work is of the greatest quality.
- Actively engage with your peers and the Leadership Team.
- As directed by your manager, participate in and contribute to the general management of the capability.
- Maintain excellent resource management and resource allocation of your available resources.
- Lead regular team meetings.
- Advocate for Continuous Service Improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Navigating, cleaning, and combining data to keep a self-service cost reporting platform up to date
- Create cost reporting dashboards with cloud cost management technologies like Apptio/CloudAbility and PowerBI.
- Budgeting, cost forecasting, and tracking are general cost management strategies.
- Capabilities and pricing models for cloud cost management (e.g., capacity planning, rightsizing, tagging) or cloud cost optimisation tools (e.g., Cloudability)
- A preference for mechanized processes. a dislike for manual methods and workarounds
- Gain expertise about cloud expenditure analysis to gain insights
- Extensive analytical, critical thinking, and quantitative abilities
- Azure Cloud Practitioner or FinOps certification would be advantageous, but if not, we can assist you in achieving this goal.
