**OVERVIEW**
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Appear on air filing news reports and conducting ‘live’ interviews from the Company’s studio
- Write clean, clear and accurate news copy
- Develop financial and business news knowledge
- Contribute and develop story ideas and develop and invite guests to CNBC shows.
- Develop sources and generate independent reporting
- Work closely with each member of a production team.
- Communication with producers, production team, news editors, other anchors, reporters and correspondents, and operations staff.
- Work with the company’s marketing department as requested to promote CNBC.
- Other duties as assigned.
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- At least 6-8 years’ business news reporting experience
- Have prior experience working in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets and business news, as well as finance and business
- Very good news judgement and high attention to detail
- Lively, engaging on-camera personality
- Fluency in English is essential
