
B2c Insights Specialist

**Research: Market Track**
a) Owns regional market research contract with Kantar
b) Owns Market Track (Brand Pulse) Research
- Annual planning for brand pulse research
- Prepare annual consumer insights deck for Regional Integrated Marketing Calendar meeting (RIMC)
- Manage quarterly regional custom questions with regional leads
- Weekly meeting with Kantar
- Quarterly insights reporting
- Validate quarterly market insights report and drive for actionable insights
c) Partner with regional Lubricants PCMO (Passenger Car Motor Oil) and MCO (Motorcycle Motor Oil) test & learn consumer research via Brand Pulse
d) Ad hoc consumer research requests
**Data & Insights**
Partner with Platforms to enable end to end data modernization to support data strategy
**I. Data Lake Foundation**
a) Partner with International Fuels & Lubricants Product Owners and D&I Data Product owners to create Data Products to support reporting, analytics and machine learning requirements
b) Partner with Data & Insights MSP to
- Setup infrastructure to ingest data from source and develop canonical mapping for Data Lake Raw/Refined/Produced/SQL DB
- Setup aggregated data models to enable analytics & visualization at scale
- Dev/UAT/Production Data Product testing
c) Partner with Data & Insights MSP to maintain inflight Data Products. These include
- Thailand and Philippines 3rd Party Loyalty
- WincorNamos POS
- Customer First & Image Stewardship
- IFCS / Starcard (technical support for B2B Insights)
- CaltexGo (Appsflyer, MBOSv1, MBOSv2, SFMC, POS & IFCS data)
- Caltex Reward, includes support for 3rd party Loyalty data, dataflows
**II. Dashboards & Analytics**
a) Partner with IFL Product Owners, Citizen Developer & Deloitte Data Engineer to develop visualizations that drive actionable insights, supporting reporting and analytical needs
b) Partner with Citizen Developer, Deloitte Data Engineer, market insights specialists to maintain inflight dashboards
- CaltexGo
- Loyalty Regional Dashboard
- Market Loyalty & Analytics Dashboards
**III. Machine Learning**
Partner with IF&L Product Owners, D&I Insights Product Owners to advance and operationalize machine learning models to drive profitable growth
**IV. Insights Training**
a) Power BI advance. Partner with Market insights specialist to deliver dashboards for markets and advance Power BI skills of insights specialists
b) Python - Required for machine learning support once models are in-flight
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, analytics, computer science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
- Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
**Relocation Options**:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
**International Considerations**:
Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
