**OVERVIEW**:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Engineer/Senior Engineer to join our Digital Platform team at the Infocomm Infrastructure Programme Centre. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our data centre operations. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless operation, maintenance, and enhancement of critical infrastructure, as well as the strategic management of resources and capacity.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Data Centre Infrastructure Management**: Oversee the operation, maintenance and upgrade of data centre facilities, including cooling systems, UPS, generators, fire protector systems, and power segregation. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, ensuring that maintenance schedules adhered to and repair works meet specifications.

**Project Coordination**: Collaborate with IT facilities infrastructure teams and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with requirements.

**Data Analysis & Optimi**z**sation**: Utilise information systems to analyse data, prioritise maintenance tasks, manage resources, and plan for capacity. Review and analyse maintenance issues with the team, taking corrective actions as needed to resolve technical challenges.

**Policy & Process Improvements**:Assist in reviewing and enhancing policies, procedures, and tools relating to computer operations to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency

**SOP Management**: Establish and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with data centre house rules and user requirements.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of facilities, data centre M&E design, BMS monitoring, resource management, and capacity planning
- Strong understanding of data centre equipment such as UPS, CRAC, HT/LT, BMS monitoring, and Pre-action Sprinklers
- Ability to work independently while being an effective team player
- Strong analytical skills for resolving technical, management and operational issues
- Excellent organisational and writing skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Good working knowledge of ISO9000 standard & ITIL processes
